The Borders Wedding Show
The Borders Wedding Show was conceived out of a desire by Patricia Paterson and Brian Barry to bring a big city wedding show to the Borders. Patricia and Brian are proud to announce that this is the glorious 10th Year of The Borders Wedding Show. Patricia manages Fahrenheit Function Band and Brian owns Barry’s Bridal Classic Cars; collectively they have many years experience of the wedding industry as well as the experience of attending many wedding shows or wedding fayres. Judging by last year’s show, where several hundred members of the public had the opportunity to visit over 70 exhibitors; we believe we are on the right track. Our previous nine year’s success has given us the momentum to once again produce a magnificent show, with more exhibitors and a greater variety, which means more choice for the Bride to be. We have still maintained the basic rules of only having a few of each trade or specialist, so that there is not a surplus of any one wedding supplier.
Keeping the Local Pound Local
The Borders Wedding Show actively supports and campaigns for local business; in these years of recession every customer or order is vital to the local economy, and by having the chance to showcase their products over 70 exhibitors will be present on Sunday 22nd October 2017 in Springwood Hall. All too often we hear of Brides going to Edinburgh or further a field to get their wedding dress, or some other essential for their perfect day. The fact is every thing for a wedding is available right here in the Borders and at Borders prices. Springwood Hall is a purpose built exhibition/function hall, there is ample free parking and wheel chair access, during the day a canteen will be available to everyone. The Borders Wedding Show has become an annual event at Springwood Hall. Next years Show date has been set for Sunday 21st October 2018. Patricia and Brian would like to thank all the exhibitors, and the volunteers who, through their hard work, will make this years show another rip roaring success.
